Canasta Basicas

Canasta Basica means basic basket in Spanish. Last Wednesday I went up to Heartland Community Church and talk to a group of woman that were doing a Canasta Basica assembling party for their MothersTogether serve day.

I got to share a little about Mission Adelante and my personal story.  Then I got to share how these sacks that they were making would go to bless so many families 

Each sack is filled with beans, rice, sugar, flour, spaghetti and vegetable oil and a Bible verse 

 The ride home was a fun time with a car full of 40 sacks

  

These sacks are handed out every Saturday morning to families that come to the Resource Center
