Over the river and through the wood to Caulfield, MO!

We took our LIT kids (leaders in training) and volunteers to North Fork River for camping and canoeing.

After a 5 hour drive... lets set up camp here!

Today is going to be a fun one...

There is no turning back now...

Our first stop was by a cold water spring... Let me say it was SOO cold

Then we did the polar plunge where you stay in the ice cold water for at lest a minute

some of us stayed up to 8 minutes. Did I say it was cold?

After lunch we did other fun thing called the pudding drop.. it was mess

I don't know if I will look at chocolate pudding the same anymore.

My high light of the trip was the last night when I got to lead worship. I got to play Beautiful thins by Gungor, This song is my heart song for my self and these kids and neighborhood.

All this pain
I wonder if I’ll ever find my way
I wonder if my life could really change at all
All this earth
Could all that is lost ever be found
Could a garden come up from this ground at all

You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of the dust
You make beautiful things
You make beautiful things out of us

All around
Hope is springing up from this old ground
Out of chaos life is being found in You

I know these kids go though a lot of hard things but I know that God is making each one beautiful in his or her own way and out of chaos life is being found in him.
