Here We GO!!!!!!!

Here I am sitting on the front step just think of everything going on with new adventurer with Mission Adelant. I love working for this Ministry and to be at a job that I LOVE it's never boring here the Jarret and Jason and Morgan out a lot of Fun to work with. Everything is back and running after the nice holiday break, LIT (Leader In Training) and Kids Adelante It was nice to see all the kids again and I think they missed us too.

LIT-
Just to see these kids and all there hard work they put into this program
They go to school and learn all day and after it let's out they come up and do more learning. We have Spelling, Grammar and Math and they kids are in three groups and they rotate in to each area and after they are all have gone throw they do there home work. The day I love the most is on Wednesday they
come early and have character development this is where they learn what
make a leader: Attentiveness, Obedience, Generosity Ect. I think this is where the kids lean the most out of any thing for LIT.

Kids Adelante-
We are growing so much the fist Thursday night we were back we had I think maybe 60 kids the room was packed. (it was a lot of fun to see) We had to open other group so now we have five groups. My group was gotten big we had to break up into tow groups but it's fun hanging out with my group they blow me away to see how much the kids know and under stand.I go there and look at all the kids and thing that these kids could be ones that change the world in there own little way.

Spanish class-
Well, like I said after the nice long break back to the work. Class is back and
I am still trying to get this Spanish down, right now we aree learning about:
ESTAR- estoy
estas
esta
estamos
estais
estan

and the verb ends with:
AR(hablar) ando (hablando)
ER (comer) iendo (comiendo)
IR (escibir) iendo (escibiendo)
Example:
Michelle esta bailando la salsa
(to dance)
the verb was bailar so we had to change it to bailando it had an ar ending.

I like saying- saca la basurd-take out the trash in Spanish is fun saying.

Thought-

there has been a a song that has been really stuck with my head
just some of the lyrics have jumped out to me:
they say I gotta learn, but nobody's here to teach me
if they can't understand it, how can they reach me
I guess they can't, I guess they won't
I guess they front, that's why I know my life is out of luck,

I kind of wounder is our kids feel this way in this word they call home
they all ready know so much about life and that's hard for me to hear that
they are only kids but they know a lot more then then I ever knew at there age.

PRAY
• My heart had been heavy for the kids I get to spend time with The more I get to know them and hear about there life had been hard for my heart.
• Pray for strength for the 11 preteen L.I.T. participants to prevail over the negative current of their social environment and influence their peers positively.
