Never Let Go!! A Time To Call For Pray!

This week has been a hard With a gang-related shooting taking place in front of M.E. Pearson Elementary school on Tuesday, the school that most of our kids attend.

Just hearing this from some of the kids I hang out with just really as hit home for me. Yes it's opened my eyes up but to them it's just an every day thing. Then hearing on Thursday night at Kids Adelant ever kid was talking about a retaliation at there schools for Tuesdays shooting. Just to see these young kids with so much fear in there eyes just really broke my heart I am learning so much about trusting and praying, (I know I cant fix any thing or make it all better by my self) I have never felt my heart be so heavy, sad and overwhelmed with all the stuff that goes on down here. It is talking about: when everything around you is just seems so hard (You Never Let GO). I just feel like I need to be reminded of that and I think the kids need to know that when everything is falling a part (You Never Let GO). I am glad to say that this Friday nothing happened but Police Presence Increased at the schools witch was good to see that they care about the kids safety and the schools did a great job.

I know that Kids Adelante is the one way we can reach these kids we are standing in the gap for them and there is other way by praying, I am learning we can't do it on our own we need his hand in all of this. Please stand in the gap with me by just keeping Mission Adelante and the kids in your prayers and in your hearts. I think and know that this is the only way we can stop the all the killing. hate, retaliations, sadness, and everything else that gets in the way of GODS LOVE.

Not sure what we're in for next week with this fresh on the kids minds with this long week they have had.

PRAY:

• That there will be no retaliation this week

and the coming weeks

• For the Family that lost there kid and for his friends

that knew him throw all the hurt

• For all the kids as they walk throw everyday life

just angels would be over all the them

• For all the schools to be safe place for the kids

to go and learn and for the all the teachers and staff

that they will feel safe

• For our LIT kids and Kids Adelante kids that

they will find peace this week
